How did you find Lagree Fitness and why does it resonate with you?

I found Lagree through a friend who was an instructor here in LA. After months of her promising it would change my life, I took a class and was immediately hooked. I have been active and athletic my whole life, but had never done any real strength training before. So many things clicked into place for me at that point. I loved finishing my day with a class to boost my mood. I felt stronger physically and mentally. I loved the loud music and how it felt a little bit like a dance class. I liked how everyone was freaking dying together like a team (something I didn't know I really liked and missed). It was the first workout I ever did that I actually enjoyed and looked forward to!

How would you describe your teaching style?

I do my best to coach everyone to work at a level that is both challenging and sustainable - and leave excited to come back again! I love loud music - all genres in my playlists!


What’s your favorite post-workout nosh?

To be honest I'm more of a pre-workout nosher! I don't like being hungry in class :) I'll grab a big handful of almonds and a Larabar (my fave is Lemon).

If you give one workout tip to your clients, what would it be?

If you feel like you're plateauing, try going slower before you add more weight. Or even shifting where you're holding your weight on the machine. This class is a game of details and sometimes less is actually more!
