Happy Holidays! Lots of family, fun and occasional overeating 😳🦃 luckily we have your back so you don’t fall too behind! Here’s a nice sweet and spicy fall treat without the heavy sugars and grains that usually come with this time of year! We’re thankful for almond flour!! 

2 cups almond flour

1/2 cup coconut flour, sifted if lumpy

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

3/4 teaspoon ground ginger

3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 large egg

3-4 tablespoons coconut sugar for rolling 



Mix all dry ingredients. 

In a separate large bowl, mix together the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla and egg.

Add the dry mixture to the wet and stir until combined. 

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm enough to roll into balls.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking sheet. 

Roll the dough into balls, roll in the sugar, and put on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 8-10 minutes and/or crack a little.

Remove cool and enjoy!! 😋
